AIRCRAFT AND AVIATION LAW

 

Banwo and Igbokwe has built up a reputable practice in the Aviation sector. Over the years, we have represented several international and domestic air carriers, for whom we have provided legal advice on their corporate and commercial interests. In their transactional dealings, we have also acted as counsel to an international airline in the negotiation and documentation of a joint operating/code-share agreement with the national carrier in Nigeria.

The firm has acted as local counsel in several aircraft wet lease agreements and has given advice on liens and aircraft registration requirements. We are often involved in providing legal advice to international airlines leasing companies that are entering into an
aircraft operating lease agreements with a domestic passenger airline carrier.

The range of services that we have provided on behalf of clients include:
